Clean out my storage

I did it. I finally took the plunge and cleaned out my closet, storage, etc. and took the last of my items to the Salvation Army. It's not a new thing for me, not the first time I've gotten rid of extra inventory. I often go through my things and get rid of things that I deem unnecessary. Things I've not worn for years but hold onto just in case. Little knit-knacks that at the time seemed perfectly fine to have "just in case". Odds and ends of this sort.

It's a good thing I believe that everyone needs to do at least once a year. I think sometimes people hold on to the past too much by keeping items that they no longer need. And well, some are just pack-rats. Anyways, not me. I'm more of a minimalist if anything. It's easier to live a nomadic lifestyle this way. Not that I don't like my toys... but somethings are worth letting go. And today... I have a clean slate. Feels good.

Hallelujah.

One down... one hundred to go.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://angels101things.blogspot.com/2008/07/095-clean-out-my-storage.html' title='095.
